Nissan to supply all-new AD Van to Mazda

TOKYO January 28, 2006; Japan Today reported that Nissan Motor Co said it will supply its all-new AD Van light commercial vehicle to Mazda Motor Corp for sale under a Mazda brand.

Mazda buys about 3,000 units of the 1.5-liter AD Van from Nissan a year under an original equipment manufacturing deal dating back to 1994 and sells the vehicle as the Familia Van.

Nissan will begin shipping the all-new AD Van to Mazda in the second half of this year, officials at the two automakers said.
