Baltimore Auto Show Opens Feb. 9th

HOT NEW VEHICLES WARM UP BALTIMORE CONVENTION CENTER

BALTIMORE, MD – January 28, 2006: Rev up and peel out to the 2006 Motor Trend International Auto Show at the Baltimore Convention Center. Featuring hundreds of the latest cars, trucks, minivans and sport/utility vehicles, this automotive extravaganza will take place Thursday, February 9 through Sunday, February 12, 2006. The show will also offer the public an up-close look at several new models, highperformance vehicles and eye-catching sports cars.

Auto enthusiasts will enjoy viewing a variety of 2006-model vehicles all under one roof, in a non-selling environment. From Acura to Volvo, the auto show will feature this season’s hottest new cars. In addition, the auto show will showcase classic muscle cars, a collection of Porsches and some of the area’s coolest customized rides, as well as a vast array of aftermarket products and accessories in Aftermarket Alley. And, for the first time ever at the show, the Xtreme Ride Revamp unveiling and giveaway will take place Friday night, February 10, when one lucky finalist will win the keys to a new car, outfitted with the latest aftermarket products and accessories.

New this year is College Two-fer Night, on Friday, February 10. Students with two valid college IDs are eligible to receive two tickets for the price of one. Sunday, February 12, is Nationwide Insurance Family Day and children 12 and under will get in FREE when accompanied by a paid adult. Family Day will also include special appearances by some of the most-beloved children’s cartoon characters. The Motor Trend International Auto Show/Baltimore is presented by the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, Inc. The auto show will be open to the public Thursday, February 9 through Sunday February 12, 2006, at the Baltimore Convention Center, located at One West Pratt Street. Show hours are Thursday, 12 noon to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults (13 and older), $6 for senior citizens (62 & older), $6 for military (with ID), $4 for children (7-12) and free for children six and under.
