Modine Promotes Margaret Kelsey to Corporate Treasurer

RACINE, Wis.--Dec. 15, 2005--Modine Manufacturing Company , a world leader in the innovative designs of heating and cooling solutions for the agriculture, automotive, truck, heavy-duty and industrial markets, announced today it has promoted Margaret "Peggy" Kelsey to the position of Corporate Treasurer and Assistant Secretary. Kelsey, currently an officer in the company, as Senior Counsel and Assistant Secretary, will take over the new duties on January 1, 2006, reporting to Brad Richardson, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.

In her new role as Corporate Treasurer, Kelsey will be continue to be an officer in the company and will be responsible for setting the worldwide policy for cash management, debt management and risk management, as well as retaining her current responsibility as Assistant Secretary of the company. "Peggy has proven herself in the legal arena and now will take on the responsibilities of the Treasurer. She brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, enthusiasm and experience to the table, particularly in the area of risk analysis. We look forward to working with her," said Richardson.

Kelsey joined Modine in April 2001 as Senior Counsel and was promoted to an officer the next year. Prior to Modine, she was a partner in the Milwaukee office of the law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP. Kelsey received her law degree from Georgetown University in 1989, graduating magna cum laude. She is currently completing her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

Kelsey is replacing the current Modine Treasurer Dave Spiewak, who is leaving the company for other opportunities.
