CIBER Delivers R.L. Polk's Next-Generation Parts and Service Marketing Technology for the Auto Industry

DETROIT, Nov. 16, 2005 -- CIBER, Inc. today announced the successful delivery of next-generation parts and service marketing technology for R. L. Polk & Co. (Polk), a leader in information and solutions for the automotive industry. The CIBER-developed technology optimizes dealer-to-client marketing campaigns to dramatically improve customer reach and customer satisfaction in the dealer service department. This technology is currently being leveraged by Polk to help drive successful customer brand loyalty programs for original equipment manufacturers' (OEM) parts and service centers.

This technology will allow dealerships in the OEM parts and service network to efficiently automate campaigns from design through delivery and reporting-to shorten campaign cycle times, improve customer reach and increase dealer service revenues. Dealerships design and administer their own programs by submitting campaign requests using the new system. Dealers now have the ability to "tune" campaigns and programs for tangible results.

"Leveraging CIBER's technology and business experience maximizes our core intelligence offering, resulting in improved program cycle time and greater service to all of our customers," said Kelly Garcia, Manager of Polk Application Development.

"Using our global distributed delivery model, CIBER worked closely with Polk on this project, from gathering and understanding their requirements, to developing and building the system and integrating it into their existing infrastructure," said Joseph Mancuso, Regional Vice President of CIBER Custom Solutions. "The end result is an application that was developed and deployed quickly and effectively, and which meets Polk's specific needs and provides optimal return on their investment."

Polk was founded in 1870 in Detroit, Mich., by Ralph Lane Polk and today is an international company that provides automotive information and marketing solutions to the auto industry and firms in related industries, such as aftermarket, insurance, finance, consulting, and government organizations. Polk is privately held and headquartered in Southfield, Mich., with operations in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
