Hybrid Completes New Development Facility; Year End Status of Development Projects

TAMPA, Fla.--Nov. 1, 20055, 2005--Hybrid Fuel Systems, Inc., ("Hybrid" or the "Company") (OTCBB:HYFS), today announced activation of the Company's 12,000 square foot systems development facility in Peachtree City, Georgia. Hybrid is engaged in the automotive aftermarket through developing and commercializing systems which convert diesel and gasoline engines to operate on natural gas and propane.

Located approximately 20 minutes from the Atlanta, Georgia airport, the Company's new facility includes two fully functioning engine rooms including dynometer cells specifically designed for conversion systems development. Operating from a glass enclosed control room, Hybrid development technicians can now measure and adjust a wide array of engine parameters essential to development of new conversion systems. "The activation of this facility represents a significant step forward in our program to introduce Hybrid's technology through the OEM," said Hybrid CEO Mark Clancy. "The highest demand for our technology today is in foreign markets as evidence by development projects currently underway. We have a two-pronged marketing strategy that envisions continuing to build on our direct domestic sales activity while simultaneously seeking out OEMs to adopt our system at the factory level." Development projects currently underway include:

-- Since June we have been developing a diesel to CNG system for a major domestic OEM with operations in Thailand. A 3.0L pickup truck was delivered to our Atlanta facility earlier this year and the Company shipped a prototype system to Thailand during July. We will now be shipping an additional four systems during December to the OEM for a 50,000 kilometer field test.

-- During August, we received a 320 horse power engine used in buses and trucks which was shipped from a China-based OEM. We have now completed the first phase of systems development and we are planning to ship the initial prototype to China during the middle of December.

-- A domestic chassis OEM principally involved in the bus and recreational vehicle market has requested that we develop a conversion system for installation at their direction. We are now scheduled to receive their engine during the last part of November to begin development work.

"Our OEM pathway showcases the unique versatility of our conversion technology," continued Mr. Clancy. "From a small 2.5L up to a 320 horse power engine, we can develop a new system in a four to six week period with minimal investment. We have invested over $300,000 to date and we expect the final cost of our new development facility will be approximately $500,000. The equipment in our facility allows us now to immediately react to developmental projects and to be more responsive to our client needs," concluded Mr. Clancy.
