Visteon Recognized For High-Quality Audio

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., Nov. 11, 2005 -- For the fourth time in the past five years, Visteon Corporation ranks highest in the J.D. Power and Associates Audio Quality report in the AM/FM/Single CD Player segment.

J.D. Power and Associates scored the Visteon AM/FM/Single CD Player in five quality areas. Visteon's top areas of performance included CD loading, sound system controls, and problems related to the CD player jumping or skipping. Visteon's AM/FM/Single CD Player can be found on a variety of Ford and Mercury models.

The AM/FM/Single CD Player is manufactured at Visteon's Cervantes Plant in Chihuahua, Mexico.

"The 2005 J.D. Power recognition resulted from a tremendous focus on quality, speed and very competitive processes in all aspects of delivering this product," said Gilson Stampacchio, general manager of Visteon electronics manufacturing, Mexico.
