U.S. Micro Corp. Again Primary Sponsor of Arnold Motorsports and Jimmy Spencer for Atlanta's NASCAR Nextel Cup Event

U.S. Micro, an Atlanta IT asset management company, says ongoing NASCAR sponsorship is an effective marketing tool for smaller companies

ATLANTA, Oct. 25 -- U.S. Micro Corporation announced today that, for the second year in a row, it has become the primary sponsor of the #50 Arnold Motorsports Dodge for the Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500 in Atlanta this week, with NASCAR veteran Jimmy Spencer behind the wheel.

U.S. Micro, a national IT asset management company, has been a NASCAR Nextel Cup sponsor for three seasons, as well as the "official computer provider" for the #50 Dodge team of Arnold Motorsports and primary sponsor for Atlanta's spring event.

"With our company being based in Atlanta, playing a significant role in this event through sponsorship of the #50 NASCAR Nextel Cup car allows us the opportunity to entertain customers and reward our employees at a high-profile event with national exposure," said Steve Bowen, U.S. Micro Corporation chief operating officer. "We have approximately 40 guests who will be attending the event in support of our sponsorship."

U.S. Micro continues to value the dividends of NASCAR sponsorship. "As a pioneer among smaller NASCAR sponsor companies, we carefully weigh the benefits of NASCAR marketing -- and we continue to believe that our Nextel Cup involvement is beneficial to our company," Bowen said. "Our NASCAR sponsorships have delivered everything we had hoped for: customer and prospect entertainment opportunities in all parts of the country; increased local and national exposure for our company through the media and the added marketing muscle of NASCAR; and enjoyable incentives and rewards for our employees."

Added Don Arnold, team owner, "We are excited about continuing our relationship with U.S. Micro. With their support and Jimmy Spencer at the helm, we look forward to being very competitive."
