Tony Pedregon Las Vegas Wrap Up

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 23, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon and the Q Racing Nitro Funny Car
fell in the first round of competition during todayıs ACDelco NHRA Nationals
at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Pedregon smoked the tires at the start, ending his day early. Tony Bartone
drove to a 4.970-second elapsed time at 255.73 mph.

³Track conditions were different from what we had in qualifying,² said
Pedregon, the 2003 POWERade Funny Car World Champion. ³We lost traction
early in the run. But overall, we continue to make strides with this team.

³We had a good weekend of qualifying and stayed consistent throughout,²
Pedregon added. ³We know, every weekend, that the Q Racing entry will be in
contention. That was no different this weekend.²
