Tony Pedregon Captures Sixth in Las Vegas
Q Racing Nitro Funny Car Looking For Another Winnerıs Circle Visit

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 22, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon and the Q Racing Nitro Funny Car
collected the sixth position for tomorrowıs ACDelco NHRA Nationals at the
Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Pedregon, the 2003 POWERade Funny Car World Champion, clicked off a
4.766-second elapsed time at 317.12 mph, setting up a round one match up
with Tony Bartone.

³We thought we could have gone a little quicker on that last one,² Pedregon
said. ³But we are definitely one of the quickest and most consistent cars
out here now. We are a threat to win every weekend.

³Thatıs how I look at our chances for tomorrow as well,² Pedregon added.
³(Crew chief) Dickie Venables and the team have this car set up for any
conditions now. We should have favorable weather for tomorrow, so Iım
looking forward to it.²
