Tony Pedregon Opens Vegas in Fourth
Q Racing Pilot Strong On Day One

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 21, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon, driver of the Q Racing Nitro
Funny Car, sits in the fourth position to open this weekendıs ACDelco NHRA
Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Pedregon drove to a 4.780-second elapsed time at 322.27 mph, placing the
2003 POWERade Funny Car World Champ in a good position for tomorrow.

³We made a couple of solid runs out there,² Pedregon said. ³As always, the
track is in great condition. Iım pretty excited with what weıve learned and
weıll make a few adjustments and  see what we can create tomorrow. But I
think weıre in a good position and have collected a lot of valuable data so
far.²
