Paul Bishop Joins Ice Industries as President, COO; Ex-Dana Executive Leads Toledo Stamping and Machining Company

TOLEDO, Ohio--Oct. 2, 20050, 2005--Ice Industries, a leading metal stamping and machining company, today announced it appointed Paul Bishop as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Bishop is a well-respected automotive industry executive who spent 16 years with Dana Corporation, most recently as President of the $1.5 billion Global Torque Group, a division of Dana's Automotive Systems Group.

Ice Industries provides cost-effective, efficient and collaborative stamping, welding and assembly solutions that allow manufacturers to focus their efforts on their core competencies.

"Ice has many customer relationships where we have offloaded stamping and manufacturing operations that fit Ice Industries' expertise," said Howard Ice, Chairman and CEO. "These operations are non-core to our Original Equipment customers who prefer to focus on engineering, R&D, marketing and assembly processes."

"Paul Bishop is a proven leader who brings an extraordinary track record, strong relationships and great manufacturing knowledge to Ice Industries," said Mr. Ice. "Paul will be a great asset as Ice Industries continues to expand its business in the automotive and appliance industries, as well as looks to identify new market opportunities."

At Ice Industries, Bishop is charged with all aspects of daily operations and will assist in acquisition activities. He reports to Howard Ice.

"I look forward to working with the many capable people of Ice Industries and building on the solid foundation through both organic growth and acquisitions," said Mr. Bishop.

While at Dana, Bishop held a number of positions, including President of Dana Commercial Credit and Vice President of Corporate Planning for Dana Corporation. He served as a member of Dana's World Operating Committee since 2000.

Paul graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati with majors in finance and management. He holds a master of business administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Michigan.
