Mansfield Railport, operated in connection with the Ashland Railway Co., sought an efficient, real-time warehouse management solution for handling material receipt/release communications and inventory control to satisfy the inherent requirements of metals manufacturers and end users, including automotive. The LoMaS(R) system is a proven solution and provides warehouse management tools including inventory management through the use of barcodes and wireless handheld scanners, billing and rating, document creation and EDI communications for inbound material receipt, material release and outbound shipping.
