FINAL TUNEUP FOR PERRIS "NATIONALS" THIS SATURDAY

OCTOBER 17, 2005

This Saturday night's race at the Perris (Calif.) Auto
Speedway will serve as a final tuneup for Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Car
Series participants prior to the Nov. 3-5 "Budweiser Oval Nationals" at the
1/2-mile dirt track.

Damion Gardner, Rip Williams and Cory Kruseman will be
competing for valuable points toward the 2005 USAC/CRA championship,
separated by only 94 points with eight races remaining in the series.
Gardner is 90 ahead of Williams and Kruseman trails Williams by just four.

Amazingly, those three drivers have accounted for 15 victories
in the 16 races held so far this year at The PAS! Gardner has won eight,
Kruseman has won five and Williams two. Rickie Gaunt is the only other
driver to visit Perris' victory lane in 2005.

Equally amazing is the fact that the three point leaders have
never "swept" the podium with a 1-2-3 finish this season at Perris.

The Nov. 3-5 races will afford points toward both the
Valvoline National and CRA Sprint Car championships.
