Delphi CEO to Address Executive Compensation on Conference Call

  WHAT:  Delphi Corp. will hold a conference call for news media
         representatives to discuss changes to executive compensation.

  WHO:   Delphi Chairman and CEO Robert S. "Steve" Miller will host the
         call.

  WHEN:  The conference call will be held at 9 a.m. (ET) on Monday,
         Oct. 17, 2005. News media representatives are invited to
