GM Chairman and CEO to Address Employees, News Media

General Motors Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner will address employees concerning third-quarter earnings and significant developments regarding GM's business operations at 8:30-9 a.m. ET today at the GM Renaissance Center, followed by a 30-minute press conference. Journalists can access both sessions via teleconference.

Journalists in the Detroit area can watch a live, closed-circuit feed of Wagoner's employee session and attend the subsequent press conference in person. They should arrive at the Renaissance Center no later than 8:15 a.m. and proceed to the Ambassador Ballroom of the Marriott Renaissance Center hotel.

The regular quarterly earnings teleconference with Chief Financial Officer John Devine will be held starting at 10 a.m. Journalists may remain in the Ambassador Ballroom following the press conference to listen to the earnings teleconference. Questions will be taken from the room and from outside callers, as time permits.

GM suggests journalists attending in person use the valet parking at the Marriott Hotel or Wintergarden entrance to the GM Renaissance Center. Signs and staff will direct you to the ballroom from each location.
