The Stanley Works Fires Up the Engines with Evernham Racing

Leading Tool Brand to Become Co-Primary Sponsor of Scott Riggs and the No. 10 Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger for 10 Races

NEW BRITAIN, Conn., Oct. 15 -- Stanley(R) tools are known for their powerful performance, and ability to get the job done. They're found in almost every American toolbox.

And now, The Stanley Works , one of the world's best known brands of tools, hardware and security products, is adding a powerful new tool to its toolbox -- the co-primary sponsorship of the No. 10 Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger and driver Scott Riggs.

Stanley will sponsor the No. 10 Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger for 10 races in 2006, including Las Vegas, Texas (A), Talladega (A), Darlington, Michigan (A), Daytona (B), Indianapolis, New Hampshire (B), Charlotte (B) and Phoenix (B). The No. 10 Stanley Tools/ Valvoline Dodge Charger will carry the signature yellow and black colors of the Stanley brand. Stanley Tools also will be the featured co-primary sponsor on the No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger in 21 races throughout the season. In addition to the primary sponsorship, Stanley will continue its involvement as an associate sponsor on the race cars of Kasey Kahne and Jeremy Mayfield, as well as on the uniform of Erin Crocker -- creating the Stanley Racing Family that is as unique and diverse as the loyal customers of Stanley(R) tools.

The Stanley Works has long been involved in NASCAR through its MAC Tools brand. The Stanley Works was a pioneer in the sponsorship of NASCAR racing as one of the first tool companies to provide support for the NASCAR Busch Series in the 1980's and 1990's, including involvement with teams such as Cecci-Welliver.
