Fleetwood RV Releases 2006 GearBox

Enhanced 2006 Models Boast Two New Editions and Several Upgrades

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Oct. 14 -- Fleetwood RV, a leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles, today announced the nationwide launch of the 2006 GearBox, boasting significant upgrades as well as two new special editions, further enriching Fleetwood's robust line of toy haulers.

The GearBox will continue to offer its standard features made specifically for outdoor enthusiasts who like to travel in style. Each unit will include all new furniture designs including a fold-down sofa, which converts into a comfortable sleeping area. Centralized controls, flush floor cargo tie-downs, a queen-size sleeping bed and a full featured bathroom area are just a few of the amenities GearBox owners will continue to enjoy. Additionally, the 2006 GearBox offers a new optional "Alloy" interior decor package, giving the GearBox a sleek, modern durable look featuring a color palette of grey, pewter and orange.

Fleetwood is introducing two new editions to its GearBox line which target two key segments in the toy hauler market. The Motorsports Edition, which appeals to the "gear head," features unique graphics, an interior and exterior work bench, riding gear storage shelf, optional power winch, air compressor and fueling station, and a ramp door extension, allowing for proper toy storage and convenient use. The Sportsman Edition caters to the outdoor enthusiast, boasting a camouflage interior decor and features such as heavy duty outerwear hangers to store waders, an integrated fishing rod holder and a game cleaning station, designed to enhance any fishing or hunting adventure.

Designed with simplicity and function, the 2006 GearBox line-up features floor plans ranging in length from 18 to 39 feet. All GearBox products provide reconfigurable living space and a rear full-width access ramp for transporting motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, and a variety of other hobby-related equipment. These trailers can accommodate comfortable sleeping arrangements for four to eight occupants.

"The 2006 GearBox has evolved to be even more cross-functional while streamlining design and comfort," said Chris Braun, Executive Vice President of Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. "It appeals to a broad range of outdoor enthusiasts at all price points without sacrificing their wants or needs."

The 2006 GearBox is available in both standard and fifth wheel trailer floor plans with an MSRP range of $21,742-$53,740. For more information on this exciting new offering or any other Fleetwood RV product, please call 877-308-7644 or visit www.fleetwoodrv.com.
