Cosma International Selects I/Gear Manufacturing Software

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Oct. 1, 20052, 2005--I/Gear, Inc. and Cosma International ("Cosma"), a wholly owned operating group of Magna International Inc., have reached an agreement governing I/Gear software use in the group's production facilities. For Cosma, I/Gear software serves as a foundation for various manufacturing solutions by providing a common platform for data collection, transport, and data presentation. Cosma will utilize internal personnel to deploy I/Gear software, leveraging the speed and efficiency of the software tools to produce more cost effective, cutting-edge information technology solutions.

In automotive manufacturing, I/Gear software enables a wide range of MES applications by providing a foundation for moving data between dissimilar systems and technologies, and the ability to push and pull data to and from the plant floor. I/Gear's "application infrastructure" software products enable more efficient deployment and maintenance of a near infinite amount of applications to include lot and part traceability, error-proofing and quarantine, on-demand label printing, dynamic scheduling, sequencing, build-to-broadcast, escalating notification, and manufacturing intelligence. The software suite is a complete package as it provides raw data collection and transport, as well as the graphical user interface to view and manage information.

"We have used I/Gear software and services at many of our divisions for various applications. The software is very scaleable, from niche and enterprise wide adaptations. We have experienced quite a few quick wins, communicating between devices quite easily. The combination of DTU and Web Framework (relying on open source reporting services) allow a high degree of flexibility to meet MI reporting needs." - Albert Versnick, Business Analyst, Cosma Structural Systems

"I/Gear is extremely pleased to play a role in building on Cosma's already outstanding level of performance as it experiences impressive growth in the automotive industry. Cosma is a top-notch customer to have, and we are a better company because of it." - Don E. Korfhage, President, I/Gear, Inc.
