ADESA Dallas' Rance Rudy Promoted to Executive Sales Director

CARMEL, Ind., Oct. 11, 2005 -- ADESA, Inc. announced today that ADESA Dallas Assistant General Manager Rance Rudy has been promoted to Executive Sales Director for ADESA, Inc. Rudy will continue to be based in Dallas and have an office at the ADESA Dallas site.

"I am extremely pleased to announce this promotion of Rance Rudy," said ADESA Vice President of Sales Jason Ferreri. "Rance brings extensive experience in auction operations and management, along with strong relationship management skills. This combination of talents will allow Rance to make an immediate impact on the objectives and initiatives of ADESA, Inc. and our valued clients."

Rudy has 14 years of experience in the auction industry, holding the Dallas Assistant General Manager position for the last two years. Before that, he was Fleet Lease Manager, also at ADESA Dallas. This month marks his five-year anniversary with the company.

"It is my hope that my past experiences with ADESA and other positions I have held will provide me with a good understanding and appreciation for what our customers need and expect. Rudy was born and raised in Dallas and received a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Texas Tech. He and his wife, Misty, live in the Dallas area.
