Tony Pedregon Grabs Fourth Qualifying Spot
Q Racing Ready for Sundayıs Eliminations

ENNIS, Texas (Oct. 8, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon, for the third time in a row,
placed the Q Racing Nitro Funny Car in the top half of the field, grabbing
the fourth-qualifying position for tomorrowıs OıReilly NHRA Fall Nationals
at the Texas Motorplex.

Pedregon secured the fourth spot on a run of 4.711-seconds at 326.71 mph,
set during Friday nightıs first session. He added another solid pass today
and is set up for a first round match up with Del Worsham.

³Iım glad we are qualifying consistently in the top half of the field,²
Pedregon said. ³Same as yesterday, we were pushing the car to the limit, so
we know how far we can take it on race day. We were expecting warmer
temperatures for tomorrow, but weıll be able to adapt and race strong.

³Whenever I race in Dallas, itıs very encouraging to meet all the Hispanic
fans that come to see us race,² Pedregon added. ³We still have family and
friends in this area and it would be very nice to bring a victory home to
Dallas, for the fans and for Q Racing.²
