Wesley Chapel Nissan Hosts Open House; Nissan celebrates opening of minority-owned dealership in Florida

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla.--Oct. 7, 2005--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) welcomes another minority-owned dealership to its national dealer network today. Wesley Chapel Nissan is the first minority-owned Nissan dealership in the Tampa metropolitan area.

Wesley Chapel Nissan is owned by Jay Rosario, who will also serve as the new dealership's executive manager. Mr. Rosario began his automotive career at the age of 18 as a sales consultant in Clearwater, Florida. He currently serves as a board member of the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers, and he was recently named as a recipient of the Orlando Business Journal's "40 Under 40 Award," which recognizes business achievement and community leadership.

Wesley Chapel Nissan is his first Nissan dealership.

Mr. Rosario's appointment as dealer principal of Wesley Chapel Nissan supports Nissan's Corporate Diversity Initiative, which aims to improve business results by establishing a more diverse dealer network. To date, NNA has increased its number of minority-owned dealerships by 80% percent since the launch of the initiative in 1998.
