Klein Appointed Vice President / General Manager Accuride Aluminum Wheels

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--Oct. 3, 2005--Accuride Corporation recently announced that it has appointed Richard (Rick) Klein to Vice President / General Manager Accuride Aluminum Wheels.

Accuride has aluminum wheel manufacturing plants located in Erie, Pa., and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Since early 2004, Klein has served as Accuride's Director of Operations / Erie Plant.

"Rick's extensive plant management experience with a focus on lean manufacturing and operational excellence will allow him to further integrate our Erie and Cuyahoga Falls facilities, so as to maximize continual improvement initiatives throughout our aluminum wheel operations," said Bob Nida, Accuride's Senior Vice President / Operations - Wheels, Gunite and Brillion Iron Works.

Klein has more than 16 years of plant management experience, most of which have involved metal fabrication processes. Klein has a BS in Business Administration from Youngstown State University.
