Eaton Announces Live Webcast October 17, 2005 of Analyst Conference Call to Discuss Third Quarter 2005 Earnings

CLEVELAND--Oct. 3, 2005--Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation will host a conference call on Monday, October 17, 2005 beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern time. The purpose of the call is to discuss third quarter 2005 earnings results with security analysts and institutional investors.

The call will be available to interested listeners through a live audio webcast that can be accessed by clicking on the microphone on the left side of Eaton's home page at the www.eaton.com Web site. The earnings news release will be accessible beginning October 17 under the Corporate News heading on the Eaton home page by clicking on the news release link.
