EnTire Solutions Launches TPM Systems for 2006 Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage

FRANKFURT, Germany, Sept. 14 The Auto Channel reported that EnTire Solutions, LLC will increase its direct tire pressure monitoring (TPM) system presence in North America as the direct TPM supplier for the new 2006 Hyundai Tucson and the 2006 Kia Sportage.

"Vehicle manufacturers selling their products in the U.S. are gearing up to meet the soon-to-be implemented U.S. TREAD Act requirements. EnTire Solutions, with its driver-oriented, direct tire pressure monitoring system, is pleased to partner with Hyundai/Kia in offering drivers the peace of mind, savings and mobility of a direct tire pressure monitoring system," said Rich Wolfe, CEO of EnTire Solutions, LLC.

EnTire Solutions' direct tire pressure monitoring system employs a battery-powered pressure sensor mounted on the valve stem inside the wheel. The sensor communicates tire pressure and temperature information to a vehicle-mounted receiver via a radio signal. Two versions of the system exist: a basic and an enhanced system.

EnTire Solutions launched its first TPM system as standard equipment on the 2004 Acura MDX and currently supplies several U.S., European, and Asian manufacturers with direct TPM systems.

EnTire Solutions, LLC, (http://www.entire-solution.com/ ) headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA, is a joint venture between Michelin and TRW Automotive bringing together Michelin's tire and wheel expertise and TRW's expertise in radio-communications and electronics.
