El pasado 7 septiembre, el Grupo BMW, DaimlerChrysler AG y General Motors Corporation firmaron un protocolo de intenciones que regula la formación de una alianza de iguales para el desarrollo de sistemas de conducción híbridos. Los consejeros delegados de las tres empresas se han reunido en el stand de Mercedes en el Salón Internacional del Automóvil en Frankfurt.
Los tres creadores de automóviles cooperarán para desarrollar sistemas de conducción híbridos que reduzcan el consumo de combustible sin alterar la capacidad del automóvil.
