$5.00 per Reservation Will Go Toward Humanitarian Fund for Travel Agents

PORTLAND, Maine, Aug. 30 -- Auto Europe, in solidarity with their travel agent partners, is pledging $5.00 per reservation booked by any travel agent, nationwide, for their clients now through December 31, 2005 towards a relief fund to assist agents in the aftermath of the destruction wreaked by Hurricane Katrina. In addition, Imad Khalidi, President, Auto Europe, also vows to personally match the pledge.

This fund will be held in trust by Joel Abels -- Travel Trade Magazine and will be distributed to agents in need of assistance in Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana and Alabama on January 1, 2006.

"We as an industry need to unite in this time of crisis and help our fellow partners. My wish is that other suppliers will also rally and show their support with similar pledges or contributions," states Imad Khalidi, President, Auto Europe.

Agents that are in need of urgent support without delay can contact Auto Europe or Travel Trade Magazine immediately.
