Wallflowers to Perform 'Secret,' Free Concert at House of Blues This Thursday, Sept. 1, As 7th Leg of New 'Fusion Flash Concerts' Series Hits Los Angeles

The Artists: Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock icons Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers recently released "Rebel, Sweetheart," featuring the hit single "Beautiful Side of Somewhere." Their commercial breakthrough "Bringing Down the Horse" -- which peaked at #4 on the Billboard chart -- featured such mega hits as two-time Grammy winning "One Headlight," (a Billboard #1 single), "6th Avenue Heartache," "Three Marlenas," and "The Difference." Led by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Jakob Dylan, son of rock legend Bob Dylan, the Wallflowers feature Fred Eltringham on drums, Rami Jaffee on keyboards and Greg Richling on bass.

The Scene: The Wallflowers are performing a free, unannounced-until-today "Fusion Flash Concert" for insiders registered on http://www.fusionflashconcerts.com/ and the general public on a first-come, first-admitted "space available" basis.

The Wallflowers show is the 6th of 10 nationwide. The Roots led off the series in New York July 14. Jermaine Dupri followed July 16th in Atlanta. Fat Joe hip hopped into Philadelphia July 20th. Staind rocked for 12,000+ fans in Boston Aug. 9th. Collective Soul hit Dallas Aug. 23. And Louis XIV will play in San Francisco next week at a secret location. The spontaneous series, interactive website and exclusive content is part of a national grassroots effort to amplify the street buzz surrounding the launch of the new 2006 Ford Fusion sedan.

Show Time: Thursday, Sept. 1 at House of Blues, 8430 West Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood (On Sunset between La Cienega and La Brea). Wallflowers will perform live on-stage, starting at approximately 8:30 p.m. Doors open at approximately 7:30 p.m.
