FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O'NEAL WOOD PRODUCTS/MONROE COUNTY PIZZA DEPT. MODIFIED RACERS APPRECIATION NIGHT

AUGUST 19, 2005

AT BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY

BLOOMINGTON, IN (August 14, 2005) - Bloomington Speedway will host another night of exciting racing action on Friday, August 19. The evening's racing will feature sprint cars, O'Neal Wood Products/Monroe County Pizza Dept. modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center super stocks.

August 19 will also be O'Neal Wood Products/Monroe County Pizza Dept. Racers' Appreciation Night. The modified racers will be running for extra prize money on August 19. Thanks to sponsorship from Erwin Drywall and Groomer Paving, their feature will pay $750 to win with proper decals. Mike Miles appreciates the loyalty of our competitors who enable us to bring a great racing program to our fans each Friday night. There is no increase in the admission charge in either the grandstand or the pits for this special show.

We expect the pits to be filled to overflowing with O'Neal Wood Products/Monroe County Pizza Dept modified teams attempting to pick up the extra prize money. There should also be plenty of sprint cars and Tire & Wheel Center super stocks. This will give the fans more of what they come to Bloomington Speedway to see - GREAT RACING.

There will be only one more sprint car points race after the August 19 race. That makes this one of the tightest sprint car points races that we've had in some time. Because of the participation of many of our sponsors, each position in the points races is worth more money. Those at the top of the points standing will be doing everything possible improve their position or, at the very least, hold onto the one they have.

In the O'Neal Wood Products/Monroe County Pizza Dept. modified division Jesse Cramer is leading in the points; but he can still be beaten. And there are several drivers attempting to do just that. Many believe that Cramer is overdue for his first modified championship. However, Gary Barrow has been running strong all season; and the championship is still within range. While their chances are a little dimmer, Shelby Miles, Clint DeMoss, and any number of other drivers haven't given up. They'll fight it until the last race has been run. And, of course, all of the competitors have the opportunity to improve their positions in the points races and their year end points awards..

In the Tire & Wheel Center super stock division Danny Harris holds a pretty good lead; but he too can be beaten by the right set of circumstances.

Because performance at Bloomington Speedway such a good measure of a racer's performance, a Bloomington Speedway championship is one of the most coveted in the area. Don't miss the next battles in the wars for Bloomington Speedway championships.

Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM, the grandstand gates will open at 5:30 PM, hot laps will start at 6:30 PM, and racing will begin at 7:30 PM. General admission is $10 for this event (children are admitted free to the grandstand when accompanied by a paying adult); and pit admission is $20. Coolers are permitted; but glass containers aren't. Overnight camping is also permitted.

SPRINT CAR RACERS APPRECIATION NIGHT

AUGUST 26, 2005

AT BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY

FINAL SPRINT CAR POINTS NIGHT

BLOOMINGTON, IN (August 14, 2005) - Bloomington Speedway will host another night of exciting racing action on Friday, August 26. The evening's racing will feature sprint cars, O'Neal Wood Products/Monroe County Pizza Dept. modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center super stocks.

August 26 will also be Sprint Car Racers' Appreciation Night. The sprint car racers will be running for extra prize money on August 26. Their feature will pay $2000 to win. Mike

Miles appreciates the loyalty of our competitors who enable us to bring a great racing program to our fans each Friday night. There is no increase in the admission charge in either the grandstand or the pits for this special show.

This will give the fans more of what they come to Bloomington Speedway to see - GREAT RACING.

This will be the final points night for the sprint car division. Just about all of our sprint car competitors should be on hand availing themselves of their last opportunity to improve their position in the final points standings. Each position they gain will mean that much more year end prize money to get their 2006 racing program underway. Because of the participation of many of our sponsors, each position in the points races is worth more money. Those at the top of the points standing will be doing everything possible improve their position or, at the very least, hold onto the one they have.

In the O'Neal Wood Products/Monroe County Pizza Dept. modified division, the points race has been tight all year; and it doesn't seem to be stretching out very much. Any of our competitors are capable of making a charge to win the championship. And, of course, all of the competitors have the opportunity to improve their positions in the points races and their year end points awards..

In the Tire & Wheel Center super stock division Danny Harris holds a little bigger edge; however, he is by no means a lock; and there are plenty of close races back through the pack. All of these guys will be in the final stages of a point drive by the time that August 26 arrives
