LIMERICK, Pa.--Aug. 1, 20052, 2005--Teleflex Incorporated today announced that the company has completed the previously announced sale of its automotive pedal systems business to an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a leading private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies.

Teleflex's agreement to sell the automotive pedal systems business to Sun Capital Partners was previously announced on July 1, 2005.
