WYSONG, WATERS EYE "WESTERN" INVASION SATURDAY

JULY 18, 2005

Jimmy Wysong and Jim Waters, separated by just 16 points, will
continue their battle for the 2005 USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive Group Rocky
Mountain Sprint Car Championship this Saturday, but will have their hands
full at the 3/8-mile paved Rocky Mountain Raceways oval in Salt Lake City,
Utah.

The Valvoline USAC Western Sprint Cars are headed to the track
to compete in Saturday night's racing program, which afford points toward
both series championships. That means Wysong and Waters will have to battle
the likes of Tony Hunt, Kody Swanson, Mike Murgoitio and Tim Barber for
victory in the 40-lap main event.

Wysong scored a spectacular last-lap victory in last Saturday
night's 40-lapper, taking advantage of traffic to get by Waters on the
final turn of the final lap! Dave Fitzgerald finished third, followed by
Mel Andrus and Jim Campbell.

Five drivers led Saturday night's race, including Rick Pardee,
Fitzgerald, Andrus, Waters and finally Wysong.
