VW Dealer Websites to Feature Black Book(R) Online Used Vehicle Appraisal Service

BOCA RATON, Fla., July 13, 2005; Volkswagen dealer websites in the U.S. now feature the Black BookŪ Online used vehicle appraisal service. The announcement was made by Mike McFall president of Veretech, Inc. (licensee for Black Book Online) and Linda Tilt, Interactive Dealer Marketing Manager for Volkswagen of America.

Visitors to VW dealer websites will receive a free used vehicle appraisal price range by utilizing the Black Book Online service. To use the service, website visitors click on the Black Book link and are asked to provide detailed information regarding the vehicle and its condition. An accurate price range is immediately provided for the consumer and is also sent to the dealer.

"The trade-in process is an interesting way to generate different types of leads for our dealers. We've successfully piloted the Black Book Online service with our dealer network and the results have been extremely favorable," said Tilt. "The lead volume is strong and the service is very consumer-friendly."
