Williams Grove Speedway to Host 2nd Annual Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption Network Night

Super Sprint Car Teams Will Race for PA Children Seeking Families

On Friday, July 1, at 4 p.m., Williams Grove Speedway will host the 2nd Annual Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption Network Night. The Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN) will promote adoption awareness during the famous Mitch Smith Memorial Race at the Grove. Currently, more than 1,100 special needs children in Pennsylvania are waiting to be adopted.

The highlight of the event will be 24 sprint car teams displaying a temporary vinyl cover on their sprint cars with a photo of a child waiting to be adopted. Also, an adoption fair will be located in the infield area of the speedway. It will allow families to meet and network with both public and private adoption agencies that have children available for adoption.

More information on adoption is available at the SWAN Helpline at 800-585-SWAN (7926) or by visiting http://www.adoptpakids.org/.
