DENSO Announces Senior Management Changes

TOKYO, June 22 -- DENSO Corporation today announced management changes, which were voted upon at today's shareholders meeting. These changes are effective today.

  New Directors appointed to the Board:
  *  Akihiko Saito, Vice Chairman (from Executive Vice President of Toyota
     Motor Corporation)
  *  Michio Fukuzaki, Senior Managing Director (from Managing Officer)

  New Corporate Auditor:
  *  Tsutomu Saito, Corporate Auditor and Attorney-at-law

  New Managing Officers:
  *  Shohei Itoh, Managing Officer (from Corporate R&D Department)
  *  Yoshikazu Makino, Managing Officer (from Corporate Planning Department)
  *  Mikio Kumano, Managing Officer (from Electronics Product Division)
  *  Akio Tajima, Managing Officer (from Human Resources Department)
  *  Yasushi Yamanaka, Managing Officer (from Thermal Systems R&D
     Department)

  Board of Director, Auditor and Managing Officer retirements include:
  *  Hiroshi Uchiyama, Senior Managing Director
  *  Satoshi Watanabe, Senior Managing Director
  *  Gyouji Kusuda, Corporate Auditor
  *  Takeshige Tabuchi, Managing Officer
