KleenAir Systems Inc. Secures China $10 Million Sales Contract

ALISO VIEJO, Calif.--June 22, 2005--KleenAir Systems Inc. (OTCBB:KAIR) is pleased to announce that, further to its earlier announced agreement with Airtek Inc., it has signed a sales contract for emission control products valued at approximately $10 million over the next 3 years with Chongqing Qinchuan Industrial Group Co. Ltd.

Under this Agreement, KleenAir will supply emission control components for the Chinese automotive market. In addition, KleenAir and Airtek Inc. will supply technical support services and proprietary technology to help develop a local emission control production and supply capability to service the Chinese OEM market for light-duty vehicles.

Qinchuan is an important supplier of automotive parts to the OEM industry and is expanding into automotive emission products. The automobile market in China has been growing very rapidly, and the Chinese manufacturers have been particularly active in the small passenger vehicle market. At the same time, government emission regulations have tightened considerably as environmental issues have been given higher priority in Chinese policymaking.

"Our relationships in China, developed over the past several years, particularly with China South, have been instrumental in bringing us to the point where we can now make a contribution to the Chinese automobile industry," said Lionel Simons, president of KleenAir Systems Inc., "and we expect over the next several years to use this contract as a platform to help bring advanced technology to China, the manufacture of which can be localized to service the Chinese OEM needs."
