Infor's SupplyWEB Selected as Supply Chain Solution for Cooper Standard Automotive

SupplyWEB(R) to be implemented throughout Cooper Standard Automotive's operations in the Americas

NORTHVILLE, Mich., June 15 -- Infor, a global provider of enterprise software solutions to select manufacturing and distribution industries, today announced that its supply chain management solution, SupplyWEB, has been selected by Cooper Standard Automotive for 25 manufacturing facilities in North and South America. SupplyWEB is a component of Infor's Automotive Essentials suite, which is a set of modular solutions designed to solve the essential challenges found in the global automotive industry.

With SupplyWEB, Cooper Standard Automotive will streamline its supplier facing operations across multiple ERP systems resulting in inventory and premium freight reductions and improving overall business processes. Cooper Standard Automotive expects to realize additional benefits with order fulfillment processes by using additional SupplyWEB modules including eKanban, Supplier Managed Inventory, and Supplier Metrics.

Cooper Standard Automotive already employs Infor's EDI solution across 22 plants in North America. With the adoption of SupplyWEB, Cooper Standard Automotive embarks on a strategic expansion of its long-term relationship with Infor. Cooper Standard Automotive is a leading manufacturer of sealing systems products, fluid control systems, trim, vibration control applications and other related NVH products for the global automotive industry.

Cooper Standard Automotive purchased all of the SupplyWEB modules because the solution addresses the opportunities it wanted to improve including multiple replenishment strategies, premium freight, inventory management and inventory accuracy, which leads to key performance indicators and metrics that Cooper Standard Automotive utilizes to continuously monitor its level of performance. Cooper Standard Automotive cites additional reasons for choosing SupplyWEB as the overall ease of use it provides, especially with the software interface and the breadth of the application.

SupplyWEB also has tools that allow Cooper Standard Automotive the agility to adapt to supplier choice with speed. Cooper Standard Automotive's implementation of SupplyWEB will begin in July 2005.
