Coates Spherical Rotary Valve Engine EPA Testing

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J.--June 3, 2005--Coates International, Ltd. has completed the No. 3 CSRV (Coates Spherical Rotary Valve) V-twin air-cooled 1600cc motorcycle engine for its affiliate company Coates Motorcycle Company (CMC) and put this No. 3 motorcycle with CSRV engine installed through the E.P.A. tests for emissions, etc. These tests included highway and city loops. All tests were carried out under EPA protocol on a chassis dynamometer, bearing a load of 1,000 `lbs. It passed all states emission standards. Coates CSRV engines are street legal now and its products can be sold in the USA. All tests were carried out by an independent testing laboratory recognized by the EPA.

The company is now gearing up to manufacture its new 1600cc Heavy Cruiser Motorcycle. These bikes will be sold with 209 EPA standards.
