'Cool Cars and Smooth Jazz' Brings Top Jazz Artists to Walter P. Chrysler Museum for Six-Week Series

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 5, 2005 -- Spyro Gyra and Chuck Mangione will headline the 2005 "Cool Cars and Smooth Jazz" outdoor concert series at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Mich., Thursdays, June 30 - Aug. 4. The 5-9 p.m. festivities begin each evening with new vehicle test drives and Museum tours. Showtime is 7 p.m. and admission is free.

Music fans can bring a blanket or lawn chair and kick back on the natural amphitheater that graces the Museum's landscape to enjoy the jazzy notes of such renowned performers as:

  June 30 - Spyro Gyra
  July 7  - Alexander Zonjic & Friends with special guests Ken Navarro and
             Michael Brock
  July 14 - Marion Meadows
  July 21 - Paul Taylor
  July 28 - Alexander Zonjic & Friends with special guest Alex Bugnon
  Aug. 4 - Chuck Mangione

Before the show, guests can take a spin in a changing lineup of 2005 Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge vehicles, as well as the all-new 2006 Dodge Charger.

Guests can also experience the Museum's special exhibition, "Dodge Legends," showcasing more than eight decades of vehicles featuring the bold, powerful, street-smart and dependable design and engineering synonymous with Dodge.

Light supper, snacks, desserts and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Alcohol is prohibited. Free parking is available.

The Walter P. Chrysler Museum is located at the corner of Featherstone and Squirrel Roads on DaimlerChrysler's Auburn Hills complex. From I-75, take exit 78 and follow the signs.
