The Honda Rider's Club of America Hosts The Twelfth Annual Honda Hoot.

Torrance, CA - Springtime has arrived in full force, which means the 2005
Honda Hoot waits just around the corner. This event, which will be held in
Knoxville, Tennessee from June 22-25, 2005, features a meeting of
motorcyclists unlike any other in the United States.

The Hoot is a grand gathering, one that includes riders on all brands and
styles of motorcycles. In short, it is a motorcycling vacation that more
than 20,000 people will enjoy together this summer. Organized activities
abound, or participants can select self-guided rides and explore the
gorgeous East Tennessee countryside-and more-if they so desire.

For most Hoot attendees, the riding is the main attraction, with all kinds
of options such as the Cherohala Skyway ride, plus a poker run and a big
charity ride benefiting the Ride for Kids. As another treat, noted Cycle
World magazine staffer and author Peter Egan will ride along on the Cycle
World vintage ride and the magazine's sponsored excursion to the Wheels
Through Time museum, which winds up right by the famous Blue Ridge Parkway.
And once the riding stops, there's a party every evening-a time to kick
back and relax.

Special events abound, with demo rides by Honda, Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Moto
Guzzi, Piaggio, Ural, Vespa and Victory, plus riverboat breakfasts and even
a special Honda Rider's Club of America Members-only event at the nearby
Tennessee Museum of Aviation, where two lucky people will win a ride in a
recently restored WWII B-17 bomber and others may purchase a ride!

A sea of motorcycles fills the parking area at Chilhowee Park, Honda Hoot
headquarters, where a small city of vendors offers just about every item a
die-hard motorcyclist could desire. The Hoot, now in its twelfth year,
brings more than $15 million in revenue to East Tennessee, a figure that
does not even include the additional revenue generated by local
organizations and attractions.
