Custom-Designed Gillette M3Power Nitro Motorcycle Debuts Tonight on Discovery Channel's ``American Chopper''

BOSTON--April 18, 2005--The Gillette Company today kicked off the national launch of its latest shaving innovation, M3Power Nitro, by unveiling a custom-built chopper inspired by the new razor's design. The creation of the chopper is chronicled in two special episodes of Discovery Channel's hit series, "American Chopper." As the network's highest-rated series, "American Chopper" (Mondays, 10-11 PM ET/PT) captures the day-to-day drama of the Teutul family and their struggles to maintain their flourishing New York-based custom motorcycle shop, as well as their family's relationships.

The chopper's design features a sleek, streamlined black frame with vibrant green accents and wheels inspired by the M3Power three-blade technology. A key feature of the razor, the vibrant green 'hot' button that activates the gentle micro-pulses of the shaving cartridge, is positioned on the rear fender of the chopper.

"We wanted this chopper to really reflect the look and feel of the razor, so we created the longest and leanest frame that we've ever designed and used the product's black and green color scheme to highlight some of the metal work," said Paul Teutul, Jr., Orange County Choppers, Inc. "In the process, we've created a real guy's bike - strong and powerful. This bike is meant to be ridden."

The new M3Power Nitro builds upon the heritage of the flagship MACH3 line and incorporates the same advanced blade and razor technologies as M3Power. The name and design of the new razor are taken from the sleek look and energy of high- performance vehicles. The creation of the M3Power Nitro chopper brings to life the inspiration behind the newest men's shaving system from Gillette.

"The Gillette Company and Orange County Choppers are both well-known for innovation and quality," said Peter K. Hoffman, President, Blades & Razors, The Gillette Company. "We're excited to launch M3Power Nitro in a unique way that helps consumers visualize the superior technology and innovation of this great new product."

Discovery Channel's "American Chopper" M3Power Nitro episodes chronicle the development of the chopper from concept to creation. The episodes will feature footage from the Teutul's visit to The Gillette Company, the fabrication of the bike at the Orange County Choppers shop and the reveal of the bike to Gillette for the first time.
