Hybrid Technologies and California Highway Patrol Showcase Lithium Powered Chopper

Hybrid Technologies Inc. The initial press conference will be held in Los Angeles, California and is part of a CHP and CAHP weeklong event surrounding graduation and memorial services for the legendary California Highway Patrol (http://www.chp.ca.gov/).

The Chopper, built by leading chopper builder Big Bear Choppers (www.bigbearchoppers.com), is the first of its kind and was built to honor officers who have fallen in the line of duty. There will be a series of press conferences as the Chopper moves from Los Angeles to Sacramento during the State's Peace Officers Memorial week. The CHP events are scheduled to be in the following markets: Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, Sacramento and Reno among others. A representative of Hybrid Technologies will be outlining the technology as well as the Company's involvement in this project to media at each of the events.

The week-long event will include dignitaries from local, state and federal agencies as well as several prominent Hollywood celebrities. This event marks a first for the CHP as well as Hybrid Technologies to honor officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Holly Roseberry, President of Hybrid Technologies stated, "We are very proud to be working with the men and women of the California Highway Patrol and the California Association of Highway Patrolmen on this project. The Custom Chopper built by Big Bear Choppers is a testament to art and technology at its best."

Hybrid Technologies was honored by the CHP in a ceremony on April 6th, 2005. The CHP received both State and Congressional awards of merit for their efforts with this project. Hybrid Technologies also received a special award from the California Highway Patrol.

The Lithium technology used in the Chopper was developed in Van Nuys, Calif., at Hybrid's development facility.

Earlier this week Hybrid Technologies announced that The Tonight Show host and comedian Jay Leno is to own the first production model of the high performance "R-Car." The technology created for the R-Car utilizes the same Lithium power system as the CHP memorial chopper.
