Golan Products Awarded GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract

GARDENA, Calif.--April 13, 2005--Golan Products Inc., a leading manufacturer of billet fuel and oil filters plus precision made motorcycle accessories announced today it has received a U.S. General Services Administration ("GSA") Federal Supply Schedule contract. This contract gives U.S. Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense as well as state and local government agencies, the ability to purchase Golan filters and related services in a streamlined manner at negotiated rates. The Golan Products GSA contract number is GS-30F-0009R for Federal Supply Schedule 23 V.

In 1999 Golan Products received the prestigious SEMA New Product of the Year Award for its patented stainless steel cleanable and reusable automotive fuel filter. Designed and engineered for the aerospace industry, for rugged, high temperatures, and extreme filtration environments, this award winning filter is made of pleated 304 stainless steel, 10 micron (.000392 inches), 1.375 inches diameter. With a total of 6.2 square inches of effective filtration area, this filter provides a maximum flow of 900 gallons per hour with no restriction and no drop in pressure. The element is washable and reusable indefinitely, cleaned easily with air or soluble rinse. Golan Products now has more than fifty filtration related products listed with the GSA.

Under the GSA Schedule Program, long-term government-wide contracts are established with commercial firms to provide access to over 4 million commercial services and products that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors or through the GSA Advantage government intranet ordering system. The increased visibility and ease of ordering provided by this contract is an important element of Golan Products' long-term strategy to further the use of its filtration solutions by government and military customers.
