Highest Honor Bestowed Upon Top 12 Toyota Dealers

TORRANCE, Calif., April 11 -- Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., (TMS) Inc., announced today recipients of its 2004 President's Cabinet Award, a prestigious honor tied to sales and customer satisfaction measures, and reserved for the 12 highest ranked Toyota dealerships in the nation.

"High-volume dealers who are also doing the best job taking care of our retail customers deserve our highest praise," said TMS President and CEO Yuki Funo. "They are fully satisfying customers while increasing their sales and profits."

Inaugurated last year, the President's Cabinet Award is bestowed annually.

To qualify for the elite honor, dealers must be a member of Toyota's "Board of Governors," the nation's top 60 dealerships as measured by sales volume. Candidates must also be among the top 12 dealerships in Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) performance.

Recipients of the 2004 President's Cabinet Award include three dealerships honored last year: Greg Penske and Tom Rudnai of Longo Toyota in El Monte, Calif.; Bill Templeton and Joe Marazzi of Ft. Myers Toyota in Ft. Myers, Fla.; and Al Johnson of Maroone Toyota in Davie, Fla. Joining the three repeat titleholders in receiving this year's Award are David Wilson, Tom Winterling and Bill Coyne of Toyota of Riverside in Riverside, Calif.; Frank Molle of Molle Toyota in Kansas City, Mo.; Bruce Dunker of Atlanta Toyota in Atlanta, Ga.; Jeff Abel of Miller Toyota in Manassas, Va.; Lee Beaman and Doug McClanahan of Beaman Toyota in Nashville, Tenn.; Kerry Bivens of Toyota of Puyallup in Puyallup, Wash.; Kevin Keefe of Libertyville Toyota in Libertyville, Ill.; Jack Fitzgerald Jr. and Bill Cash of Fitzgerald's Lakeforest Toyota in Gaithersburg, Md.; and Cliff Cummings of Toyota of San Bernardino in San Bernardino, Calif.
