HILLSBOROUGH, Calif.--April 8, 2005--

Sunday, May 1, 2005 Event Will Also Feature Extensive Collection of Rare Bentley Automobiles.

The Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance announced today that a world class collection of vehicles will attend the 49th Concours d'Elegance on May 1, 2005. This very high quality show will feature some of the most rare and unique automobiles in the world today.

This is especially true of the 44 entrants from the dual Marque classes: Aston Martin and Bentley. There were 19 Zagato-bodied Aston Martin DB4 GTs ever made, and 3 of them will be on the field at Hillsborough. Other significant Aston Martins and Bentleys entered are:

-- A 1956 Aston Martin DBR1/1 Sports Racing Car in which Sterling Moss won the 1959 1,000 Kilometer race at Nurburgring.

-- A 1949 Aston Martin DB2 Prototype Coupe that has campaigned at Le Mans and Spa.

-- A 1929 Bentley 6.5 Litre Barker Torpedo, from the Blackhawk Museum in Danville. This very rare car is one of the most important Bentley automobiles with Barker coachwork in the world.

-- A 1939 Bentley 4 1/4 Litre Overdrive Pillarless Berline

-- A 1930 Bentley Speed Six Corsica Coupe

The unique and rare vehicles extend to other significant classes as well. On the field will be impressive sections of pre-1920's Brass Cars, including a 1917 Hall-Scott "The Four Roadster," and CCCA designated classic cars such as a 1931 Cadillac V-16 452A All Weather Phaeton and a 1939 BMW 328 Roadster.

These unique cars will be joined by special displays from the Arcane Auto Society and Miniature Engines from the Bay Area Engine Modelers society.

"We are delighted and honored to present such a unique collection of select antique and classic cars at the 49th annual Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance," said Jonathan Spira, co-chair of the event. "We are extremely selective and our quality is extraordinarily high -- on par with the best shows around the world."

Proceeds of the Concours d'Elegance benefit the Hillsborough Schools Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting the Hillsborough Public Schools.
