Action-Packed Grand Prix of Long Beach Weekend

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.--April 5, 2005--This weekend, an estimated 200,000 motor sport fans will gather in south Los Angeles County for the 31st Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. This year's event offers more adrenaline-pumping action and special attractions than ever before. During all three race days - and Thursday's pre-race festivities - superstars of the exciting 2005 Boost Mobile Freestyle MX Tour presented by Yamoto by Patriot (Patriot Motorcycle Corp. - Pink Sheets: PMCY), will perform gravity-defying demonstrations as part of its national 70-city tour.

Daily shows will feature the sport's top riders on powerful motorcycles performing some of the most amazing aerial acrobatics ever seen in the motor sports world - while soaring overhead for thrilled racing fans. Planned stunts include incredible aerial moves and airborne back flips, performed during 80-foot ramp-to-ramp jumps. Stars of the Boost Mobile Freestyle MX Tour presented by Yamoto by Patriot will perform Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM as part of the combined "Thunder on Pine" Car Show/Pit Stop competition and music festival in the streets of Long Beach. Over the race weekend (Friday, April 8th through Sunday, April 10th), star MX Tour riders will also perform three 25-minute shows in the centerfield arena at the Automobile Club of Southern California Lifestyle Expo. Admission is free to all race-ticket holders.

According to Patriot Motorcycles President of Sales and Marketing Mark Green, "As sponsors of the 2005 Boost Mobile Tour, Yamoto by Patriot is proud to add to the excitement of Grand Prix weekend and bring these pulse-pounding aerial Freestyle MX shows to the Long Beach motor sport fans. The fact that this is the debut event for our 70-city national tour makes it even more exciting."

This year's event features Indy-type Champ cars roaring around 1.97 miles of Long Beach city streets driven by internationally famed drivers racing at high speeds past 19 huge spectator grandstands into 11 hairpin corners - and letting it out on the long straightaways.

And to make sure not one thing is missed - anywhere on the circuit - worldwide NBC-TV coverage will also be shown on eight giant-vision screens placed at strategic points around the track.

Former Indy racing legend Dick Simon, now vice president of Patriot, adds, "Having driven in the Grand Prix of Long Beach three consecutive years, I know first-hand that of all the races on the circuit, only two were true driver favorites: The Indy 500 and Long Beach. Being here this year brings it all together for me personally. Seeing Patriot Motorcycles play a vital role in all the excitement is a real thrill. You don't want to miss this weekend."
