Auto Club Group Launches New AAA Member Publication

AURORA, Ill., March 11 -- AAA members in the eight Midwest states served by The Auto Club Group (ACG) will receive a new and improved travel and lifestyle publication as part of their regular membership benefit, beginning with the March/April edition.

Called AAA Living, the new publication will combine a contemporary look and feel with more relevant content that is customized for each AAA club territory whose members it serves.

"The new magazine will feature high-quality graphics, improved readability, a less cluttered layout and content tailored to individual interests," said Publisher Kathy Harrison. "These are qualities our members said they wanted."

AAA Living will replace Michigan Living and Home & Away in ACG's eight- state, six-club territory, which includes AAA Chicago, AAA Michigan, AAA Minnesota-Iowa, AAA Nebraska, AAA North Dakota and AAA Wisconsin.

The new publication will provide consistent, high-quality lifestyle and travel information for AAA members.

While providing regional reach for its advertisers, AAA Living will retain popular local items such as community calendar information and AAA branch information, along with additional Web links providing even more local content than ever before at http://www.aaa.com/ .

AAA Living will be sent to approximately 2.5 million households throughout ACG's service territory.

AAA Living will be published by The Auto Club Group in partnership with Pace Communications, a custom publishing firm in Greensboro, NC.

For more than 100 years, AAA has represented the interests of the nation's motorists and served as an advocate for various traffic safety and travel related issues. AAA Chicago has served that role in Illinois since its founding in 1906.

AAA Chicago offers automotive, travel, insurance and financial services. It is part of The Auto Club Group (ACG), the largest affiliation of AAA clubs in the Midwest, with 4.1 million members in eight states. ACG clubs belong to the national AAA federation, a not-for-profit organization, with more than 46 million members in the United States and Canada.
