Mitsubishi Motors Reports January 2005 U.S. Sales

CYPRESS, Calif., Feb. 1, 2005 -- Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported January 2005 U.S. sales of 7,269 units.

"Although we're disappointed with our January sales, we realize those numbers don't include the same percentages of fleet sales we had last year at this time," said Michael Tocci, senior vice president of sales, fleet and distribution at Mitsubishi Motors North America. "We're confident and very excited that with MMC's recently announced revitalization plan, our U.S. turnaround strategies and great product coming down the pipeline, sales momentum will build in the upcoming spring months."
