DaimlerChrysler Names Karenann Terrell VP and CIO

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 18 -- The DaimlerChrysler Board of Management today announces the appointment of Karenann Terrell as Vice President.

Terrell, previously Director - Managed Services & International Process Systems, has been appointed Vice President and CIO Chrysler Group and Mercedes-Benz North America effective January 1, 2005. She reports to Susan J. Unger, Senior Vice President and CIO, DaimlerChrysler AG.

Many of Terrell's responsibilities were previously held by Richard Earle, Director - ITM Chrysler Vehicle and Mercedes-Benz North America, who has retired.

Terrell also had served as Director, eConnect Platform, where she oversaw all e-Business activities for the product and consumer side of the Chrysler Group.

Terrell holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University (1988), and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from General Motors Institute (1986).
