MSRP Increases for Nissan and Infiniti Vehicles

GARDENA, CA December 30, 2004; Nissan North America, Inc. today announced price increases averaging 0.5 percent on several of its Nissan and Infiniti vehicles.

The increases in the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price are due to rising costs which no longer can be absorbed. The new prices are effective with vehicles shipped to dealers beginning Jan. 5, 2005.

“We’re in a very tough business environment and unanticipated cost increases only make it tougher,” said Jed Connelly, NNA’s senior vice president for sales and marketing.

MSRP increases range between $100 for the Nissan Sentra, Altima V6 and Quest, to $300 for the Infiniti Q45.

The MSRP increases include all Nissan and Infiniti vehicles except the all-new 2005 models of the Nissan Frontier pickup; Nissan Xterra sport-utility vehicle, Nissan Pathfinder sport-utility vehicle and the 2006 Infiniti M sedans. Introductory prices for those vehicle lines reflect the increased costs.
