Hyundai Announces Mid-Year 2005 Pricing

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 27, 2004 -- Hyundai Motor America has announced its mid-year 2005 pricing. This price lineup, which represents a total sales-weighted, equipment-adjusted price change of less than 1% from 2004 model year levels, continues to strengthen Hyundai's industry-leading value position.

Highlights of the Hyundai lineup include the freshened-for-2005 Tiburon, with its attractive new base price of $1,000 less than last year's model. The popular Sonata GLS Special Value Model continues with $750 of free equipment, including fully-automatic temperature control, HomeLink, electrochromic mirror, heated front seats, and unique six-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. Well-equipped Accent GLS, Elantra GLS, and Tucson GL and GLS models (with standard Electronic Stability Program and six airbags) continue with the same industry-leading entry price points they currently have.

All prices are effective with vehicles allocated on or after January 4, 2005.
