EVS Receives Award from Israel-Japan Chamber of Commerce

YOKNEAM, Israel--Dec. 2, 20042, 2004--Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. (OTCBB:EVSNF) today announced that the Israel-Japan Chamber of Commerce has named EVS as one of its five 2004 Outstanding Exporters to Japan. The award will be given at the January Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner in the presence of Israel's Minister of Commerce and Japan's Ambassador to Israel.

The Chamber of Commerce made its decision based both on the total value of the Company's exports to Japan during the past year and on the dramatic growth of its exports from 2003 to 2004.

"We are proud to receive this award as an outgrowth of our increasing activities in Japan and to be part of a group of prestigious companies also given this year's award," said Mr. Zami Aberman, President of EVS. "In fact, with the new OEM agreement announced last week, Japan has now become one of our strategic target areas.

"We congratulate the Israel-Japan Chamber of Commerce for its important work and extend our appreciation for this gratifying recognition."
